Labor Related to Space

艺术空间与艺术家最显著的差异在于：进行更多的是组织生产而非作品生产，因此空间的劳动也集中在组织层面上的劳动。激烈空间的实践不仅仅只是艺术家自我组织的持续化，而是试图把艺术生产关系作为自身的工作内容，将组织工作编织到艺术家实践之中，而空间劳动是两者衔接和触动。

The apparent difference between artist and art space is that art space mostly organizes the production but not art work production. Therefore, the labor of art space will focus on the labor of organizational level. The practice of Radical Space is not only artist’s sustainable self-assembly, but also attempt to regard art production relations as its own content. Thus, space labor becomes the connection and confront as putting organizing process into artist practicing.

   About “Painting of Labor Value”

上海至美艺术发展中心（SAAC）于2016年ART021博览会特别呈现了激烈空间《劳动绘画》艺术项目，艺术家石青是本次项目的组织者，他邀请6-8位艺术家、策展人、布展工人、文化工作者和其他行业人士，完成了一系列绘画作品。“劳动绘画”项目包括从作品制作到展示，以及销售的一系列流程，这也是“安信信托+ART021扶持艺术发展专项基金”支持的首个艺术项目。

Shanghai Artemis Art Center (SAAC) presented the Radical Space art project “Painting of Labor Value” in 2016 ART021. Artist SHI Qing is the organizer of the project. He invited 6-8 people who were artists, curator, art executors etc. to complete a series art paintings. “Painting of Labor Value” project includes the process from art painting execution to presentation. It is also the first supported project of “ANXIN + ART021 Art Fund”.

 关于激烈空间

 About Radical Space

激烈空间于2014年，由石青、黄淞浩、姚梦溪等人创办。激烈空间主要以项目的方式，将社会田野作为关注和工作对象，强调空间生产，以日常经验角度介入到艺术关系之中，并进行情景化的工作实践。近年展览及艺术项目包括：上海剧组：《电影地理计划》（2016）、《地方工作 - 河南》（2016）、《上交会 - 未完成 2015》（2015）、《地方工作》（2015）、《上交会》（2015）、《展览的噩梦（上）》（2015）、《集体主义建筑1》（2014）、《紧张的经验》（2014）等。

   Radical Space is a space carrying out projects and demonstrating practice in Shanghai founded by Shi Qing, Huang Songhao and a series of artists. The space is main to present art projects and only do group exhibitions. Radical Space cares society and labors, focus on space production, and practices as acknowledgment of nature of conflict in reality turn to situational scene to intervene art relationships. Recently exhibitions and art projects includes “ Shanghai crew: Film Geography Program, 2016 ”, ” DIFANG WORKS-He Nan , 2016 ” , ” Shanghai DEAL- Unfinished, 2015 ” , “ Nightmare of Exhibition 1st－half, 2015 ”, “ Collectivist Building I, 2014 ”, “ Experience of Nervousness, 2014 ” etc..
